On a visit to Model Rail Live at Barrow Hill I picked up an old Airfix Class 31 in need of a bit of TLC. After some fixing of the bogie pivot points it runs well but the body needed a reprint and some added detailing.
So after a bit if thinking I decided to respray it in the experimental Golden Ochre livery and duly ordered a tin from Phoenix Precision.
After a few covers over a white primer I'm not totally convinced on the shade being right when compared with various photographs.
Not sure whether to leave as it is and have a go at the white lining bands or try and find the Railmatch version to see if it varies much...

Free listing weekend
